Gall mite emergence started

We’ve enjoyed a mild weekend, and those gall mites are finally starting to emerge at Lincoln.

We’re at 170 GDD since 15^th August in Lincoln.  The model predicts 5% emergence at 200 GDD, which is the optimal time to have the sulphur spray applied.  I think we’ll be at 200 GDD at the end of this week in Lincoln, and in about 10 days in Timaru.
